You know what you find at the top of a mountain? Perspective.

Are you as adventurous as you are kind-hearted? Are you looking for a reason to climb the Rocky Mountains besides “because they’re there”? Are you someone passionate about ending global poverty? Of course you are. Join us this summer for the 2016 Summit Challenge, and combine your passions and interests for a life-changing experience.

Proudly smiling on the top of Torrey’s Peak, July 2015

Choose from any of Colorado’s 54 14,000 peaks, grab some friends and family, and have a great time while raising money for a great cause. Last year, climbers trekked a total of 226,562 feet, and raised $23,372 to help their fellow humans. That’s $9.69 a foot!

The Summit Challenge is a summer-long event, and climbers can choose a date that works best for them. Funds raised support Outreach International, a nonprofit organization that works closely with impoverished and developing communities around the world to forge permanent solutions to the world’s deepest poverty. It’s a beautiful thing.

Take the Challenge individually, or build a team to tackle the hike together. Invite friends, family, coworkers, congregation, school, or sports team to join you! All ages are welcome, especially if they’re mountain-climbing enthusiasts! With your help, we can raise funds, as well as awareness, for this incredibly important work.

Everyone loves adventure.
It’s a fact. We’re looking for team members to join us on this grand adventure — hikers, climbers, sponsors, and advocates alike. We need YOU! We hope to see you smiling in the mountain sunshine alongside the rest of us on this year’s Summit Challenge.

So what are you waiting for? Sign up, team up, lace up, then hike up, and you’ll benefit those struggling through the uphill battle of a life in deep poverty.
