Outreach has supported hopeful, young students through the Haiti Primary School Program since 1986. The program focuses on supplying students with a hot meal to provide them with the nutrients they need to learn, grow, and thrive In 2025, 50 schools receive support, and 20 of those schools participate in the lunch program supporting 1,345 students. With full bellies, these students are able to perform their best in school and work toward bright futures—all because of you.
Meet the Students
“I am Auguste, I am twelve years old and I am in 5th grade. I like playing football and basketball with my classmates. I always help my mother fill the gallon of water. When I grow up, I would like to be a bank clerk to earn money.”

“My name is Moumoune, I am seventeen years old. I live at Rivière Froide with my family and in the house I like cooking with my mother. I like spending my holidays at ‘Aux Cayes’ and my favorite sport is football. I like vegetables and ground corn. I like visiting Saint Domingue, I like evangelical songs, and my favorite subject at school is Mathematics. I want to study in Chile.”

“I am Louis and I am ten years old. I am in fourth grade and there are fourteen students in my class. I live with my Parents at Campeche and I like helping my parents to cook. I like spending my vacation at Port au Prince. I like Creole lessons and my favorite sport is dance. I like evangelical songs, rice, visiting the beach, and French lessons too.”

“My name is Chedeline and I am twelve years old. I live in Mareau with my mother, father, two older sisters and a little brother. I am in fifth grade and there are 20 students in my classroom. I like to help my parents and my neighbors. I like to dance, sing, help my mom cook, and watch soap operas. I want to finish my classical studies and become a great lawyer.”

“I am Androse and I am 10 years old. I am in 6th grade and I like the learning methodology at this school. I like that my school participates in the feeding program. I want my school to have a library so that all children can read. When I grow up, I want to become a doctor.”

“My name is Remosier and I am ten years old. I have three sisters and two brothers. It’s a great joy for me to enroll in this school supported by Outreach. I like the food program in the school. I want to be a doctor to take care of everyone, that is my biggest dream.”

I live in Rivière Froide with my parents and at home I help my mother to clean the whole house. I like to spend my holidays in Cold River because I like this place. My favorite sport is football and I really like social sciences; I don’t really like French at school.
