When you picture Outreach helping, picture Mwila. As an HDF, or “Human Development Facilitator,” with Outreach Zambia, she’s a field-tested pro at empowering local communities to identify, then rectify, whatever issues they face.
Q: Tell us about your hobbies!
A: I enjoy listening to music, chatting with friends.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: I love nshima (a local Zambian dish made from finely ground cornmeal) with fish or pork. It’s delicious.
Q: Tell us about your family!
A: I am the youngest of three children, and have an older brother and sister. Right now, I live with my parents and two nieces — one belonging to my brother, and the other is my sister’s.
Q: What were some of your previous jobs before working with Outreach?
A: I’m young, so I don’t have a long history! Before joining Outreach Zambia, I worked for an insurance agency as an administrative manager, and before that, I worked as an intern for an insurance company.
Q: If you could have any superpower, which one would you choose?
A: Oh, it would definitely be the ability to teleport!
