WHAT’S ADVENT STABLE?
Outreach’s Advent Stable is a FREE resource for parishioners and their children to explore uplifting themes throughout the Advent Season. Each week, a new theme will be shared through stories of how each concept is embodied in the people who benefit from the work of Outreach, and the ways in which children can support these concepts and other good works in their lives during the holiday season and throughout the year. This year’s themes are: PEACE, HOPE, JOY, AND LOVE.
Join our hooved helper, Wally the Water Buffalo, as he leads you on a journey during Advent Season through his home country—the Philippines! Wally will show you around his community and you can get a glimpse of the good work you help make possible! Wally will also introduce a new resource and gift, ‘The Blessing Buddies.’ Each child will have the opportunity to ‘adopt’ a buddy to take home with them as their reminder to be kind and generous during Advent season and complete Advent Stable Calendar tasks each day!

Your Advent Stable 2022 kit includes:
- Four Engaging Stories – One for each Sunday of Advent, told by our friend Wally the Water Buffalo for elementary-age children and beyond. These stories illustrate how Outreach’s work brings to life HOPE, LOVE, JOY and PEACE to our partner communities around the world. — through the support and kindness of people like you.
- Activity Calendar – Each day features a random act of kindness having to do with the weekly Advent themes to engage the entire family during the Advent season.
- *Super Cute* Blessing Buddies – These 1 inch erasers may be small, but they are a BIG reminder for children to be kind and generous during Advent season.
- Pictures & Videos – Featuring our friend Valerie in the Philippines!
