Our field partners in DR Congo don’t just drill, they drill well. And wells!
UNICEF approached the DR Congo participants and asked them to participate in training for manual well-drilling, pairing them with 19 other organizations selected for the program. After figuring out some of the kinks inherent in such specialized work, our DR Congo team came away with not only some sturdy new wells in their own community, but with the knowledge and equipment to help other nearby communities dig their own wells, turning well-wishers into well-havers. Great job, team!
