In the last several years, Outreach International has had some amazing new opportunities and seen great progress. And today, we’ve got big news to share with you. In the coming year, we’re planning our biggest expansion to date.

In the 35 years since Outreach was established, we’ve never seen this much growth. And we’re so excited you’re part of this incredible time in our history. In fact, we owe it all to you! We can’t thank you enough for all the support you’ve given us throughout the years.

During the next year, we are planning to expand our work into 14 new communities around the world – a 33 percent increase in communities served. In addition, we are planning to train several new field staff members.

But we’re also expanding our current communities. In Haiti, we will be supporting two new schools and adding another feeding program. In Zambia, treadle pump projects and preschool feeding programs are growing. And in Bolivia, water projects are reaching more families than ever before. Since Outreach started, we’ve been fortunate enough to work in 15 different countries.

This year we are reallocating our resources to make sure we are the most effective we can be. Sadly, that means we will cease funding to two of our smaller programs. However, this has given us the opportunity to expand even further. So let’s look at some of the highlights from those two closing programs:

From 2010 to 2013 in Guatemala, 129 families built smokeless stoves, potentially saving many lives and increasing health for hundreds. 129 families received water filters, saving hundreds from water-related diseases. Locals have planted more than 15,000 trees, built four elementary schools and planted hundreds of tire gardens.

In South Texas, the participatory food pantry continues to thrive for 1,325 participants – 327 families. Running like a well-oiled machine, the residents will continue to access thousands of dollars of food from the pantry for generations to come.

We’re also proud to announce the launch of a new tracking and monitoring program (MPAT). It will allow us to better understand the full impact your donations are making in the lives of those living in poverty and help us get you the most up-to-date information possible.

We’re so grateful to our many loyal supporters during this exciting time! We couldn’t have done it without you.

Go to and help us continue changing the lives of thousands.
